Pragati Gramodyog Evam Samaj Kalyan Sansthan
Pragati Gramodyog Evam Samaj Kalyan Sansthan is a not-for-profit voluntary organization established with the vision to ensure freedom from fear of freedom for achieving a sustainable freedom for the marginalized community. The PGS was established by a group of young social entrepreneurs in 1986 with the aim to organize interventions for human and social development of the marginalized communities particularly in rural areas. The organization is registered under Societies Registration Act, 1860, IT 80 G and FCRA. It aims at promoting self-reliant and sustainability among poor sections by ensuring their access to the natural resources and uplifting their social, economic & cultural status. It also aims at empowering community based organization and develops the skills for the growth of micro-enterprice and agribusinesses.
